The Sunset Run

Five hours, timed backwards from tonight's sunset.
Pyrgos for the height, Imerovigli for the quiet, Oia for the moment everyone came for — timed backwards from tonight's sunset.
- Pyrgos village & the old castle lanes
- Prophet Elias — the highest point on Santorini
- Imerovigli & the Skaros rock viewpoint
- A caldera winery stop for a glass at golden hour
- Oia — parked, walked in, in position before the crowd
The sun sets over Oia at 19:57. Pick a village and this line works out when we leave.
We pick you up from your hotel door. The order of the stops is a suggestion, not a rule — if you want to stay somewhere longer, we stay. The van is yours for the whole time, air conditioning, water and all.
Is The Sunset Run private?
Yes — the van and the driver are yours for the whole 5 hours. No other guests, no fixed departure, no minimum group. The price of €300 covers two people; each extra guest is €40.
Can we change the stops?
That is the point of booking privately. The list above is what most guests choose; say what you would rather see and we build the route around it the morning of the tour.
What time do we start?
Usually around 19:40, because that is when the light is right for this route — but the start time follows the sunset, so it shifts through the season. We tell you the exact hour the day before.
Are entry tickets and tastings included?
The vehicle, the driver, the fuel and the waiting are included. Museum tickets and winery tastings are paid on the spot at their own counters — we never mark them up.
Arriving or leaving on the same trip? The transfer is a fixed price too.
