How long does the drive from Athinios Port to Fira take?
About 20 minutes door to door in normal traffic. In August, between 17:00 and 20:00, add ten minutes — the whole island moves towards the sunset at the same time.
How much is a transfer from Athinios Port to Fira?
€40 for the whole vehicle, up to 3 passengers with standard luggage, plus €5 for each extra passenger. VAT, tolls, luggage and child seats are included, and the price does not change at night.
What happens if my ferry is delayed?
We watch the ferry arrival at Athinios. Sixty minutes of waiting are included free, and a delayed boat has never cost anyone here a surcharge. Send us the number when you book and the rest is our problem.
Can you take us on to a hotel with no road access?
Yes. Several places in Fira sit above pedestrian lanes. We stop at the closest point a vehicle can reach, and we carry the bags the rest of the way — that is part of the fare, not an extra.
