Vaggelis was amazing! When he first picked us up from the ferry during a heatwave, he had bottles of water for us, helped us with our luggage, and made sure we were all comfortable. He is very knowledgeable about the area, and gave us great recommendations of places to see and things to do. Vaggelis and his crew were amazing with my family while staying in Pyrgos. He arrived early at the airport and waited an extended period to pick us up. We had no phone service to contact him and would have been stranded had he not. Our flight was late and we were slower than expected making our way to him. Most people would have left us high and dry. Throughout our 5 days he and his staff never failed to exceed our expectations, even refusing the tips we offered him, understanding that we had already spent a fortune on our trip. Instead, he treated us like family. We were delighted by his pleasant disposition and his kindness was beyond refreshing. We hope to return the favor some day.

How long does the drive from Athinios Port to Oia take?
About 45 minutes door to door in normal traffic. In August, between 17:00 and 20:00, add ten minutes — the whole island moves towards the sunset at the same time.
How much is a transfer from Athinios Port to Oia?
€50 for the whole vehicle, up to 3 passengers with standard luggage, plus €5 for each extra passenger. VAT, tolls, luggage and child seats are included, and the price does not change at night.
What happens if my ferry is delayed?
We watch the ferry arrival at Athinios. Sixty minutes of waiting are included free, and a delayed boat has never cost anyone here a surcharge. Send us the number when you book and the rest is our problem.
Can you take us on to a hotel with no road access?
Yes. Several places in Oia sit above pedestrian lanes. We stop at the closest point a vehicle can reach, and we carry the bags the rest of the way — that is part of the fare, not an extra.
